What buying on instinct really costs
For a distributor, inventory is the biggest asset — and the least measured.
Stockouts
A customer asks, it's not there, and they buy from a competitor. Every stockout is a lost sale and a little less trust.
Idle capital
Overstock doesn't show up in your P&L, but it takes up space, expires and freezes cash you need.
Hours in Excel
Every week someone recalculates minimums, checks suppliers and builds orders by hand — and it depends on one person.
How it works
Three steps. No change to your current system.
- 1
Upload your inventory
CSV or Excel with SKU, on-hand, demand and lead time. We recognize English and Spanish headers.
- 2
Review the prioritized list
Critical first, then what to reorder, what's overstocked and what isn't moving — with estimated purchase value.
- 3
Approve and export
Accept or reject each line, adjust quantities and export to Excel to send to your suppliers.
Every number has a reason
No black boxes. We use standard inventory-management formulas and show every step with your own data, so you can defend the purchase to your boss or your supplier.
- Reorder point = daily demand × lead time + safety stock
- Quantity adjusted to minimum order (MOQ) and pack multiples
- Visible assumptions: if safety stock is missing, we flag it
Example: LED bulb 9 W
Daily demand
d = period demand / period days
15
Safety stock
SS = value from file
150
Reorder point
ROP = d × lead time + SS
600
Projected stock at next review
P = on hand + on order − d × review days
155
Quantity needed
Q₀ = max(0, ROP − P)
445
Order multiple adjustment
Q = round up to order multiple
450
Current stock coverage (days)
coverage = on hand / d

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to connect my ERP?
No. It works with a CSV or Excel exported from any system (or your current sheet). Integrations will come later, once we know which ones you need.
Does it use AI?
How much to buy is calculated with a deterministic, auditable formula — it doesn't guess. We'll use AI to explain results and flag anomalies, never to invent numbers.
What if I don't have safety stock?
We estimate it with days of demand (configurable) and flag it as an assumption on each line, so you decide whether to accept it.
Is my data safe?
Each company has its own isolated workspace with roles and an audit log. We don't share or sell data, and you can export or delete it.
Does it work with multiple warehouses?
Today each analysis is one file (one warehouse). Multi-warehouse consolidation is planned for Business.
